I have some modest summer fashion to share with you today!
Let me show you how easy it is to be modest and stay cool with this collection of outfits from my own closet! Modest summer fashion with pieces I love!
It is so very hot here in central California, even in my mountain location we hit 106 last week. It is too hot to get dressed it seems, but alas, clothes are just as necessary now as in winter!
I’ve rounded up some of my favorite summer outfits that I wear to combat the heat while staying modestly covered!
#1 Spaghetti Strap Dress + T-Shirt
Here’s a style that got its start in the ’90s. Let’s keep it alive! Take any spaghetti strap dress and layer a t-shirt underneath.
I have been layering with a crop top. What’s modest about a crop top? Nothing! Unless it is underneath a dress, then it is cooler and comfier than a t-shirt!
#2 Sleeveless Dress
It is hard to find a dress with sleeves. But I don’t hesitate to buy them if I find one I like now that I have these great short sleeve cardigans!
If left unbuttoned they allow the breeze and body heat to pass through and I kinda like the extra layer because I can’t be the only one who nearly freezes to death in restaurants in the summer.
#3 Breezy Skirts!
My daughter and I both have this particular skirt from Amazon. It has pockets, a working drawstring waist, and cool soft fabric. It comes in a lot of colors besides pink!
#4 Low Neckline Problems Solved
These little camis are so handy! They have an elastic band that snaps around each of your bra straps to fill in the gaps left by risky necklines.
They are just long enough to reach past your bustline so it does not make you feel like you are wearing 2 shirts.
Buy in a pack with more colors than you can imagine!
Looking for more modest, feminine summer outfits? Head over to one of my favorite online boutiques, Inherit.
They take wonderful pictures of outfits that evoke the beauty of godly simplicity.
Are you lacking in courage to stand apart visually from the world in your choice of clothing?
