Is it spring yet in your corner of the world? Here in the foothills of Central California, it’s absolutely glorious!
Bright blue skies, warm sun, refreshing breezes the smell of green grass! The hills are bursting with wildflowers. It’s so picturesque.
I revel in it because when May comes we are the epitome of Isaiah 40:8, “The grass withers and the flower fades.” Everything dries up and we are golden hills for months upon months.
If you aren’t surrounded by wildflowers in your neighborhood, chances are the stores are blooming.
Floral prints seem to get more popular each year. I struggled with this trend at first. You can go a lot of bad places with florals.
You have to be a little choosey so as not to look like dated wallpaper or “too much” bedspread.
I’ve rounded up some Pinterest pictures to show you some great ways to wear floral prints that won’t blend in with the wallpaper in the church bathroom!
Skirts
Dresses
Note, these pictures are merely suggestions of prints, colors and styling combinations. There are definitely things in these images that I do not promote, IE jewelry and strappy heels. One or more of these dresses would require a modest camisole to adjust for the low v-neck line.
I will leave you with God’s handiwork, perfect and lovely, modest and unassuming!
