Have you looked into athletic skirts and wondered if they are worth the price? Have you wondered how to style a Snoga? Athletic skirts aren’t just for the gym, they can easily be dressed up or down according to your climate and activity.

Winter used to be a very difficult season for my wardrobe.

Wearing layers under my long skirts felt so suffocating. The double waistband (skirt and leggings) seemed like it was trying to squeeze me in two.

There was limited freedom of movement as the leggings and skirt would catch and rub on one another, slowing me down, making me feel bulky and clumsy.

At last, I ordered 2 different styles of Snogas to experiment with. I ended up getting some inexpensive Henley-style tops from Walmart to wear with them. I was content. I had several outfits that I could either be comfortable with on the go or at home.

Over the years I have searched Pinterest and Instagram for ideas on how to style this new wardrobe staple. I had a hard time deciding what looked good and what looked strange, but if I could see it modeled, I could make a better decision.

So this is what I’d like to share with you this week! The many ways I like to style my Snogas! They really are quite versatile.

The Faux Wrap Snoga

-This Snoga offers the most freedom of movement.

-Comes in several fun colors or your basic blacks and grays.

-I choose this one for causal outings or if I know I will be climbing/hiking.

Outfit 1) This a great Snoga for someone who runs or bikes. But as you can see, a striped top, a long cardigan, and some Keds are all you need to transition from the gym to the grocery store!

Outfit 2) It also looks cute with your favorite pull over sweater and some warm boots!

Outfit 3) I love it with a chambray button-down, a long or short sleeve shirt, and walking shoes!

I wore this outfit hiking the Highway 1 coastline and Big Sur with my family this fall.

The Shirttail Snoga

-This Snoga has a dressier look to it that is fun to bring out from time to time

-It is slightly longer in the back, like a shirttail.

-Fits Straight through the hips and not overly clingy.

Outfit 4) Here’s my go-to black and white stripe long sleeve, a festive red vest, and some cozy boots

Outfit 5) So let’s dress it up! A pretty red sweater and some fun accessories like scarves and a timeless purse!

I have the same boots as the outfit above, but I have worn a black riding boot with this as well.

Outfit 6) Just to prove how versatile this style is, here’s an outfit I wore a few weeks back on a day hike in Kings Canyon National Park. There was snow and ice on the trail but a beautiful view after a slippery climb!

I am wearing a warm flannel shirt, a sherpa-lined vest, and some sturdy boots. Garnish with your favorite hat!

    Hi!

Thank you so much for the amazing suggestions!
But I never seem to find the links for the skirts/dresses you share in your blog. Can you please help me with that? Thank you!

    Have a blessed day!

In my other posts, I have also shared Amazon links, click on them to be taken to the image featured. If you have questions about links in other posts please reach out! I will try to make them more obvious in the future! Blessings to you!
