I have rounded up some warm winter skirt ideas for the change in weather.
Depending on what part of the country you live in, you either up to your neck in snow already or at the very least the temperatures have taken a significant dip.
Top Four Fabrics for Winter
Denim
An obvious pick, this fabric goes all year round. It is sturdy and versatile (dress it up or dress it down) and it comes in many colors! Here are some links to my favorites.
Wool
Soft, warm, and more flexible than denim. Wool tends to look dressier but don’t let that keep you from wearing it every day, why not look a little nicer? You can buy it in solids or these fun plaids!
Flannel
What? My winter bedsheets are flannel and they have snowmen on them?
I had the idea last winter that flannel would be an ideal winter skirt material and I was right.
Unfortunately, I cannot find premade flannel skirts but I went down to my local Hobby Lobby and for $15 bought a few yards of this pretty plaid.
I wore this skirt SO much. It was super warm and easy to move in, even in snow. Looks super cute with boots!
Here’s an amazon link to something similar, cotton/poly blend and lots of color options!
Corduroy
This kind of fabric is much easier to find premade. Corduroy is warm and soft and can be found in many earth tone neutral colors. Here are a few that I recommend.

Just wondering where you got the long jean skirt you are wearing in the picture with the brown boots?
That skirt is from a website called Inheritco.com, they are formally Skirt Outlet. HUGE selection, lovely website, inspiring photos!
